Founding member of Central New York Blogger Mamas, Amy Suardi, has joined Parentables.com, a new collaborative blog from TLC about the modern state of parenthood. She will be writing about saving money and budget travel, topics she has covered in her own blog, Frugal-Mama.com, since October 2009.
Parentables is a site where parents from all walks of life can share in finding the extraordinary in the everyday, and take a peek into the lives of other families, learn from their challenges and successes, and discuss hot-button issues. Parentables currently has more than 20 contributors, each established writers in the parenting space. In addition, Kate Gosselin and Michelle Duggar from TLC’s hit shows Kate Plus 8 and 19 Kids and Counting will be regular contributors to the blog.
“We are thrilled to have assembled such a talented and unique group of writers,” said Meaghan O’Neill, editor-in-chief of Parentables. “Each writer brings a level of expertise and a valuable perspective to the world of parenting, and we are lucky to have them onboard.”
With at least 10 original articles per day, the Parentables blog features personal stories from diverse voices on topics ranging from education and child development to design and style, technology and relationships. Amy’s recent posts on Parentables include How a Family of Four Can Enjoy a Spa-Like Vacation in Niagara Falls for Under $200 a Day, Discounts Your Cell Provider Doesn’t Want You to Know About, and Should We Save for Retirement or College?
